Position Summary

Our network encompasses multiple clinical locations, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in the Cincinnati Tri-State area. With direct affiliation to the University of Cincinnati Physicians, our practitioners benefit from immediate access to specialized care for complex medical cases. We are committed to fostering a patient-centered approach, promoting innovation, and supporting the education of future healthcare leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations for patients with complex, acute, and chronic health issues.
- Diagnose medical conditions utilizing advanced techniques in pathology, clinical chemistry, and molecular biology.
- Order and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Prescribe both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and make referrals as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment strategies.
- Engage in evidence-based practice to facilitate informed decision-making among staff, patients, and families.
- Participate in the training and mentorship of nurse practitioner and physician assistant students, as well as medical students.
- Perform additional duties as required by departmental needs.
Qualifications
For Nurse Practitioners:
Education Requirements
A master's degree in nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience is required.
Certifications/Trainings
A valid RN license to practice in Ohio with prescriptive authority is required prior to employment.

Education Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Experience Requirements
At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant is required.
Certifications/Trainings
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is mandatory.
- A valid PA license to practice in Ohio is required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Regular use of repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
- Effective communication skills are essential, including hearing and speaking.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching may be required.
