Job Summary

This role involves installing and maintaining electronic security systems, performing preventive maintenance, and conducting inspections and evaluations. The successful candidate will lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects, conduct daily tool box talks, and install head end equipment at both local and global levels. They will also program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems, troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware, and provide on-site software commissioning and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects
  • Conduct daily tool box talks and document results
  • Install head end equipment at local and global levels
  • Program head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems
  • Troubleshoot and isolate systems and hardware
  • Provide on-site software commissioning and testing
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Requires a Valid driver's license
  • Must pass customer background check after offer is extended
  • Education: HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program
  • Required Progressive Experience: 4-6 years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
  • Strong Oral, Written, and Presentation Skills
  • Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives
Desired Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems
  • Experience in installation of Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, Aiphone Intercom Systems, and Windows operating systems
Abilities
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
  • Possesses good vision, the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English
