Career Opportunities

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Buildings Group. This individual will be responsible for developing mechanical designs in support of various projects related to building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed plans and specifications for building projects
  • Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices
  • Assist project managers in management of projects
  • Utilize BIM design software to produce construction drawings
  • Manage multiple assignments concurrently
  • Be responsible for time management and product quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
  • 5-10 years of building design and construction industry experience
  • Must have a knowledge base of mechanical engineering principles related to building mechanical designs
  • Proven experience overseeing mechanical designs
  • Technically competent in building mechanical systems

Preferred Skills

  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Experience with AIA MasterSpec
  • Knowledge of Federal Agencies design criteria
