Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is a leading provider of healthcare services, seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to assume responsibility for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment and be able to make effective decisions in an efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
