Required Experience

  • PGA Membership or Apprenticeship is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of golf with the ability to play at a proficient level
  • 3-4 years of experience within the golf industry
  • Excellent verbal communication and computer skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency in computerized point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and maintain a polished image at all times
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of company and employee information
  • Assist in upholding employee handbook policies and dress code standards
  • Support the planning, organization, and coordination of various golf activities, including leagues, outings, and special events
  • Help oversee and direct the daily operations of outside services, including carts, range, parking, and the overall appearance of outdoor facilities
  • Manage the merchandising process, which encompasses ordering, receiving, displaying products, maintaining displays, conducting sales promotions, and performing monthly inventory checks
  • Oversee the E-Commerce platform, ensuring that product listings are accurate, current, and available
  • Ensure Golf Shop staff are well-informed about product details and promotional offers
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and diplomatic manner
  • Assist in managing play, ensuring guest check-in and fee collection processes are efficient
  • Facilitate effective communication with guests and staff to support daily operations and ensure coordination across departments
  • Engage in various forms of contact with others, including face-to-face interactions, telephone conversations, and email correspondence
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving around, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and repetitive movements
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions
  • May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
