Job Summary

BYD COACH & BUS LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Associate to join our team. As a Parts Associate, you will be responsible for managing all parts ordering and tracking, processing parts requests, and collecting daily service reports for warranty purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all parts request forms submitted by customer service staff and customers under the general supervision of the Parts Manager or Supervisor.
  • Provide support in inventory management and stock replenishment, ensuring that all parts are accurately tracked and stored.
  • Collaborate with the warranty and warehouse teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient parts delivery.
  • Track all parts ordered for assigned customers and technicians, and update them accordingly.
  • Assist customers with parts availability and pricing, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Maintain and track all orders in an organized manner, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Provide daily status reporting to the Customer Parts Manager/Supervisor, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service and/or automotive parts, with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person or by telephone.
  • Experience with basic computer programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to constantly improve and learn new processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Presentation skills, with the ability to present information to small and large groups.
  • Ability to work directly with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Reliable transportation, with a valid driver's license.
