We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Transformation Advisor to join our team at Lodestar Consulting. As an Agile Transformation Advisor, you will be responsible for advising organizations through their Lean-Agile transformation, using scaling frameworks and identifying and optimizing value streams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating agile ceremonies such as product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple agile teams
  • Collaborating closely with the product owner to prepare and clarify the product backlog
  • Leading collaboration initiatives with developers, stakeholders, product owners to translate business objectives into user stories and development efforts
  • Helping draft precise, actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Assisting in developing product strategies that deliver customer value and drive business growth
  • Leading teams through story grooming, decomposition, and development estimation
  • Coaching and mentoring team members on agile standards and best practices
  • Configuring and maintaining an agile project management tool (JIRA, etc.)
  • Challenging and improving the operation of the team, improving their performance and capabilities
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
  • Supporting the team to improve their technical work by reviewing results and establish lessons learned as well as track the improvement
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Interacting and communicating effectively with logistics and technology senior/middle management
  • Participating in MRO process improvement workshops identifying gaps, and providing solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
  • Applying basic skills and experience in systems development, detailed knowledge of business processes, technical background and supervisory skills to implement business solutions

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years experience as Release Train Engineer (RTE) and/or Scrum Master
  • SAFe / Agile / Scrum experience
  • Experience in working with Agile teams and Agile development practices, including sprint planning or grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily scrum
  • Must have program and project management skills, and excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exposure to working with teams in virtual environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

Desired skills include:

  • Certified Scrum Master or SAFe certification is a plus
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (SP) is a plus

Education includes:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer information systems, programming engineering, technology and/or relevant professional RPA certifications

Security Clearance:

Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).

Salary commensurate with experience. Travel and relocation expenses may be considered based on the appropriate candidate.
