Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our team at Global Partners LP. As a Guest Service Associate/Cashier, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating the point of sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Operate the point of sale system, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling and inventory procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish products and supplies, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Communication: Communicate with store management and colleagues regarding customer requests, vendor-related concerns, and other store-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to perform basic computer functions.
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
