Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the thoroughness and precision of estimates while managing the project budget effectively.
  • Conduct both conceptual and hard-bid estimating, including quantity take-offs and pricing for materials and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration with owners and architects.
  • Review and approve project proposals and bid packages before they are presented.
  • Lead and oversee client interactions in the pursuit of new projects, preparing preliminary budgets for returning clients.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working with a General Contractor.
  • Experience in self-performing trades is highly advantageous.
  • Background in commercial construction is essential.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Conceptual, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction document budgets and estimates.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as MCiC, OnCenter, Timberline, PlanGrid, Revit/BlueBeam is preferred.
