Join Our Team as a Concrete Construction Intern/Trainee

Ceco Concrete Construction is a leading industry player, and we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a concrete construction intern/trainee. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and estimating stages of projects to ensure efficient, safe, and economical form systems are incorporated into project designs.
  • Prepare accurate formwork layout drawings and erection instructions for field crews.
  • Collaborate with the project team to monitor safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve concerns regarding structural design with the project team.
  • Assist in preparing quantity surveys, formwork estimates, and project proposals.
  • Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure maximum utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
  • Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested to support the organization.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, material deliveries, and jobsite productivities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to travel and work on projects outside of the office area.
