Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and process patient information to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Verify patient insurance and determine financial liability
  • Collect patient payments and process financial transactions
  • Scanning and indexing patient documents
  • Provide wheelchair assistance and transportation as needed
  • Participate in cross-training and relocation to other areas as needed
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to navigate computer systems, including Microsoft Office and registration systems
  • Good typing and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
