POSITION SUMMARY


Manage and operate cleaning apparatus and tools, including the dishwashing machine, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing area, and waste compactor. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, and equipment. Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring perishable items are rotated effectively. Guarantee that clean items are stored in designated locations. Utilize detergents, rinsing agents, and sanitizing solutions in the three-compartment sink for dish cleaning. Inspect, sort, and stack cleaned items, returning soiled items for re-scrubbing and washing. Rinse and spray all racked items with hot water to eliminate food residues. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash cutlery. Break down dirty bus tubs and manage waste disposal in trashcans and dumpster areas. Clean and mop all designated areas within assigned departments. Dispose of glass and other recyclables appropriately.


Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.

Safeguard company assets. Communicate with colleagues using clear and professional language. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with team members; collaborate to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
No prior work experience required.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience necessary.

License or Certification:
None
