Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Assist with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor patient vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
  • Report any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of previous adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course (must provide professional references to verify experience or certificate of completion of CNA class).
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
