Your Role as a Hospice Aide:
Provide compassionate care to patients, allowing them to stay in the comfort of their homes surrounded by loved ones.
Collaborate with the hospice team to address each patient's distinct physical, emotional, and spiritual requirements.
Assist patients in experiencing their final days with dignity, joy, and peace.
Enhance the quality of life for individuals every day.
Qualifications for Hospice Aide:
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
In states without licensure requirements (AL, AZ, CT, GA, IA, IL, KS, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MT, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV), candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Hold a current license/certification as an aide; or
- Have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and have been continuously employed in that role for the last 24 months.
Current CPR certification is mandatory.
