About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to join our team at Air Products. As a key member of our Commissioning and Startup group, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning and startup of electrical systems for industrial capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commissioning and startup of electrical systems, ensuring safety and quality installation, commissioning, and initial start-up.
  • Develop and implement electrical construction and commissioning best work processes and work with 3rd party vendors to support resource demands.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Instrument and Controls team, ensuring safe work practices are followed leading to an efficient commissioning and startup of the units supported.
  • Collaborate closely with electrical engineering, operations teams, and 3rd party customers on integrated and advanced electrical commissioning engineering, design, and planning.
  • Develop electrical commissioning strategies and packages for projects and develop E&I contracting strategies.
Requirements
  • An Electrical Engineering degree is required.
  • Minimum of 25 years (total) of electrical field (operations), design, and engineering experience.
  • Proven experience with electrical construction management, electrical acceptance testing, electrical commissioning & functional testing, and equipment energization.
  • Proven record of success in safety, environmental, quality, and employee involvement.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to employee involvement, leadership, team building, and diversity.
