About the Role

The Regional Practice Manager is a dynamic position within the American Veterinary Group (AVG) of hospitals, providing leadership and guidance to our veterinary practices when there is a practice manager vacancy at one of our clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting, developing, disciplining, and terminating paraprofessional staff, including annual performance reviews
  • Overseeing the hospital's P&L, including accounts payable/accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory
  • Resolving client issues and escalations and overseeing follow-up communications
  • Working in partnership with the Regional Director of Operations on special projects, as assigned by leadership
Requirements
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Virginia
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • A positive, can-do attitude; strong people skills/emotional intelligence; excellent analytical skills; willingness to roll up your sleeves and chip in to help the team
