Job Summary

Central States Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Materials Specialist to join our team at our Springfield, MO location. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking materials as needed
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
