Mental Health Recovery Specialist

h3Job Description/h3pMental Health Outreach Counselors play a vital role in promoting recovery goals and objectives for program participants. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to develop treatment plans and support participants in achieving their goals./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliAssist participants in various settings to attain their individualized recovery goals and objectives./liliCollaborate with the team to develop treatment plans, supporting participants' involvement and reviewing identified goals and tasks on a weekly basis./liliUse strategies and interventions to restore and teach daily living skills, including self-care, work, education, social relations, and financial stability./liliProvide monitoring to promote and maintain a safe living environment in the community for assigned individuals./liliTransport participants as assigned by program supervisors./liliComplete all documentation as required./liliAttend weekly team meetings and other scheduled meetings and trainings./liliAssist in MHRS residential programs as needed./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelor's degree preferred./liliHigh School Diploma / GED required./liliExperience working with people in mental health recovery./liliValid driver's license and motor vehicle record required./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliStarting $18.00/hr - $2.00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification./liliPaid orientation and trainings./liliGenerous time-off package./liliComprehensive health and dental insurance plans./lili403(B)-retirement plan, with employer matching./liliLong-term disability benefits; paid life insurance./li/ul
