Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing biometric screenings, including venous blood draws, finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and other health assessments, at various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples efficiently and safely using venous and capillary collection methods.
  • Conduct biometric screenings, including blood pressure checks, BMI measurements, and body fat assessments.
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood specimens.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant information.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive health screening experience.
  • Provide services at various screening sites as needed, requiring reliable transportation.
  • Assist with transporting medical instruments and supplies to and from screening events, if necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, management, and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to provide services at different sites within the designated area.
  • Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure (if required) as a Phlebotomist.
  • Proficiency in performing blood draws and biometric measurements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CPR certification.
Physical Demands:
  • Extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Some bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
Compensation:
  • Standard per diem, PRN hourly rate based on your state of residence.
  • Options to be a Team Lead may be assigned and includes an hourly differential when utilized as such.
  • Paid training as they are required for an event. Onboarding train is non-compensated.

Pay: $26/hour
