In this role, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining a shared real-time data platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to project deliverables, managing risks associated with production environments, and serving as a vital member of an agile team.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java or Python programming, with a solid grasp of data structures and object-oriented design principles.
  • 2+ years of experience with Pinot, Trino, or big data technologies.
  • Proficiency in all facets of DevOps including source control, CI/CD, Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and design (e.g., Kafka, Spark).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Experience in agile and iterative software development methodologies.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with Grafana and observability platforms like OpenTelemetry.
  • Knowledge of Public Cloud services, particularly S3.
Key Responsibilities:

Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise throughout the software development and DevOps lifecycle while continuously engaging with stakeholders.

Develop and implement solutions within an Agile software delivery team, working collaboratively to achieve sprint objectives, writing code, and participating in the broader technical community.

Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintenance of the shared real-time data platform, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and software design patterns.

Apply your technical understanding of concepts and procedures to resolve issues as they arise, while adhering to and contributing to the establishment of technical and team standards.

Collaborate with technical leadership to meet established goals aligned with the broader technical strategy.
