Northwell Health is seeking a skilled Home Care Infusion Registered Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our home infusion team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and delivering infusion therapy to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Deliver Infusion Therapy: Provide intravenous infusions, transfusions, or venipuncture care to patients under the direction of a physician.
- Manage IVs and Catheters: Place, monitor, and maintain IVs or catheters for the purposes of delivering antibiotics, parenteral nutrition, or other medications or therapeutic treatments as directed.
- Document Patient Information: Document patient condition, vital statistics, diagnosis, and prescribed treatments.
- Perform Related Duties: Perform related duties as required.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Licensure: Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- Experience: 5-7 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
