Key Responsibilities

Position Details

Shift: We are hiring for various shifts with flexible start times. Enjoy two days off each week.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with dispatch to receive route and product details for daily deliveries
  • Conducting thorough inspections of the delivery vehicle
  • Checking vehicle fluid levels, tire conditions, and operational features
  • Loading equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks into the vehicle
  • Notifying dispatch of departure times and initial delivery stops
  • Driving to customer locations, which may include retail and food service establishments
  • Executing safe backing maneuvers into loading docks or designated areas
  • Engaging with customers to receive delivery instructions
  • Unloading products and transporting them to specified locations using electric pallet jacks
  • Down stacking products from pallets upon request
  • Utilizing hand trucks for moving individual boxes at certain stops
  • Obtaining customer signatures on delivery invoices
  • Returning empty pallets and loading any returns onto the vehicle
  • Continuing to the next delivery and repeating the process
  • At the end of the shift, submitting paperwork to dispatch
  • Offloading pallets and equipment as required
  • Installing and removing tire chains when necessary
  • Performing additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of one year of verifiable driving experience with a valid Alaskan Class B License
  • Preferred experience in delivery operations
  • Maintaining a clean driving record
  • Having a clear criminal background
  • Possessing a current Medical Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 75 lbs
