Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products and materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a box truck to pick up and deliver customer freight in a variety of locations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections on vehicles being operated, in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, lift materials, and identify, label, count, receive, and issue freight.
  • Ensure that cargo is secured for transport in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Prioritize and complete day-to-day activities as assigned.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards with focus on the care and custody of materials.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Two to three years driving experience required.
  • CDL Class B required.
Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions (extreme cold and inclement conditions - snow, ice, rain, wind, etc.).

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vehicle vibration.
