Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Direct Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform Medical Procedures: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to craft personalized care plans.
  • Monitor Patient Conditions: Continuously monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patients' medical information, including treatment plans, medication management, and progress notes.
  • Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices, promoting overall well-being and health.
  • Adhere to Infection Control Procedures: Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, adhering to established protocols and guidelines to prevent infections from spreading.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Valid LPN State License: Possess a valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS Certification: Hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
