Maintenance Planner Opportunity at IPEX Group of Companies

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by coordinating maintenance activities and implementing a preventative maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and issue work orders to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Distribute preventative maintenance work orders to ensure equipment is maintained throughout the plant
  • Manage the spare parts inventory to ensure timely repairs
  • Organize and maintain the Tool Crib to optimize equipment performance
  • Implement and operate a preventative maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Label and mark shelves and parts, and enter data into the maintenance software system
  • Maintain a complete inventory of spare parts and auxiliary equipment
  • Data entry of purchase orders, work orders, inventory, and PMs
  • Responsible for the hiring and placement of contractors in compliance with EH&S/ISMS
  • Ensure maintenance repair items, parts, and inventories are readily available for timely repairs
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years' experience in a Maintenance Manufacturing environment, ideally in a similar position
  • 2-5 years experience with the use of a maintenance software system (CMMS)
  • A proven track record in a continuous improvement manufacturing environment with ISO 9001
  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, written & verbal communication and problem solving skills
  • A strong working knowledge of computers using word processing, spreadsheets, outlook and SAP
