The Logistics Operations Supervisor is accountable for the streamlined functioning of the inbound and outbound logistics activities, along with associated departments, while driving process enhancements aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with department heads to guarantee that products are inspected, received, tested, calibrated, and stored efficiently and accurately utilizing Resolv WMS.
  • Coordinates with team leaders to ensure product availability for picking, packing, and shipping via Resolv WMS, meeting quality benchmarks and daily shipping obligations.
  • Works closely with the Inventory team to rectify inventory discrepancies and errors promptly, ensuring that root causes are identified and resolved.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, particularly those concerning Power Industrial Trucks, while maintaining updated ISO procedures.
  • Contributes to the development and monitoring of operational KPIs and relevant metrics.
  • Employs MS Excel for data analysis, generating short-term forecasting reports, tracking multi-order shipments, and supporting special projects.
  • Capable of managing, motivating, and training a team of eight to ten Supervisors and Leads.
  • Acts as the primary contact for priority orders and urgent shipments during weekends.
  • Maintains a safe and organized working environment across all facilities.
  • Effectively plans and communicates with Customer Service, Export, Domestic, and Rentals Departments on a daily basis.
  • Documents and assists in troubleshooting issues related to Dematic and Resolv WMS.
  • Performs other warehouse and operational tasks as required.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Oversees approximately eight direct reports and thirty indirect reports.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Manager, complemented by additional experience in production or light assembly.

Required Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills, SAP B1, Resolv WMS, and Dematic.

Physical Demands:

  • Occasional physical tasks in both warehouse and office environments.

Work Environment:

  • Involves both warehouse and office settings, with the necessity to travel to vendor sites and other locations as required.
