Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Join The George Washington University Hospital, a leading academic medical center, as an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing advanced monitoring technology and critical thinking skills to assess and interpret patient data.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care, advocating for patients and their families throughout the care journey.
- Provide education to patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of nursing practices within the ICU.
- BSN or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
- DC RN License or eligibility.
- 1 year full-time experience or 2 years part-time experience in critical care.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
