As a Certified Surgical First Assistant at AdventHealth Waterman, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our perioperative team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect preoperative patient care to patients undergoing operative and/or invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient management.
- Perform surgical first assistant techniques, including using instruments and medical devices, providing surgical site exposure, and handling and/or cutting tissue.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient perioperative environment.
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or Military Training Program in Surgical Technology.
- Certification in Surgical Technology and First Assist Certification required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Proficient in the English language.
- A competitive hourly rate of $49.71.
