Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality. Your key duties will include:

  • Providing assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Maintaining professional demeanor at all times when interacting with residents and families
  • Reporting any suspected or witnessed instances of verbal, mental, or physical abuse to licensed staff immediately
  • Utilizing safe transfer techniques when assisting residents with mobility
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A valid certification for a Certified Nurse Aide
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist
  • Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required
