Telehealth Vascular Surgery Consultant

Dane Street is expanding its panel of expert physicians to provide medical reviews and opinions on a telehealth basis.

This opportunity allows qualified professionals to earn supplemental income while working remotely, selecting cases that align with their schedule and expertise.

We are seeking Board Certified Vascular Surgeons with 5 years of experience who possess strong clinical skills and the ability to interpret medical necessity in compliance with nationally recognized guidelines.

As a Telehealth Physician Reviewer, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing medical records to determine the medical necessity of services provided by other healthcare professionals
• Ensuring clear, concise rationales for determinations with adequate supporting documentation
• Utilizing current criteria and resources to support sound decision-making and rationales in reviews
• Providing copies of utilized criteria with reports in a timely manner
• Returning cases on or before due dates and times
• Maintaining proper credentialing and state licenses, as well as any special certifications or requirements necessary to perform the job
• Attending required orientation and training sessions

You will work independently, with no doctor-patient relationship established and no treatment provided. These are advisory-only opinions.

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
