Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' situations, gathering medical, psychological, emotional, and social information.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, setting goals with clients and their families.
- Collaborate with community resources to provide referrals, appointments, and support.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and department case documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and provide consultation to clinical staff.
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- State of Michigan license as a Licensed Master's Social Worker.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in an acute care psychiatric facility.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities.
- Current knowledge of treatment theories, practices, and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
