Sandblaster / Painter Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join PK Industrial as a skilled Sandblaster / Painter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing all types of industrial painting work and surface preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, sandblasting, or other means, as necessary.
  • Mix various paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and special protective coatings for specified consistency, and drying properties.
  • Paint buildings, structures, equipment, and piping using brush, spray gun or another applicator.
  • Clean and store tools and equipment and clean work sites.
  • Assist in a variety of maintenance and repair work on equipment including paint pumps, blast equipment, air compressors, generators, and the like.
  • Assist in performing preventative maintenance on blasting equipment, spray equipment, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform related duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass required background check/DOT drug testing.
  • Must be able to perform work out of state.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
