Position Overview

Carolina Reserve of Laurel Park, a premier Assisted Living Community, is in search of dedicated culinary specialists to contribute to the preparation, management, and serving of meals. Our culinary team plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional food service, enhancing the dining experience for our residents.

This is a Full-Time Position

Qualifications

  • Possession of a current ServSafe certification or willingness to participate in training to obtain certification.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Culinary training or apprenticeship is highly regarded.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in food preparation, including full-line menu items and dietary needs.
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old; 18 years or older for operating specific kitchen equipment.
  • Preferred experience includes three years in healthcare, hospitality, or service settings.
  • Background in culinary arts is advantageous.
  • CPR and First-Aid certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work in a caring environment while ensuring safety and health standards.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.

  • Learn and execute basic tasks while following both written and verbal instructions.
