Job Summary

We are seeking two faculty members to join the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). The selected candidates will be expected to teach and provide leadership in working with DDS/MS/PhD trainees in basic and translational oral and craniofacial research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor DDS/MS/PhD trainees in basic and translational oral and craniofacial research
  • Provide leadership in working with trainees and faculty members in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry
  • Conduct research in the field of oral sciences, with a focus on amelogenesis and biomineralization
  • Generate independent grant funding to support research projects
  • Mentor MS, DDS, and DDS/PhD research
Requirements
  • DDS and/or PhD degree
  • Proven track record in peer-reviewed external funding at the R01 level
  • Research focus related to amelogenesis and oral sciences
  • Strength in teaching
