Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Enrollment Counselor to join our team at Strategic Education. As an Enrollment Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective learners through the enrollment process, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective learners to understand their needs and provide personalized support and guidance.
  • Provide information and answer questions about our degree programs, including admission requirements, course offerings, and career outcomes.
  • Assist prospective learners with the application process, including submitting applications, providing supporting documents, and completing financial aid forms.
  • Communicate with learners and their families to provide updates on the status of their applications and to address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as admissions and financial aid, to ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, counseling, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as higher education admissions, student affairs, or counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, counseling, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field, such as higher education admissions, student affairs, or counseling.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including students from underrepresented groups.
  • Knowledge of higher education policies and procedures, including FERPA and Title IX.
