Position Overview:

The Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of Human Resources, including the administration of employee benefits, management of compensation structures, fostering employee relations, recruitment processes, payroll oversight, and the enforcement of organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Update and maintain the Employee Handbook as necessary.
  • Administer payroll deductions and earnings, ensuring accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage and update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Conduct and oversee timely performance evaluations, participating as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align human resource strategies with organizational talent needs, focusing on recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and staff on complex HR issues, handling sensitive situations with care.
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and selection of qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to identify necessary skills and competencies for open positions.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends, proposing competitive pay structures to attract and retain top talent.
  • Partner with Training and Development to design programs that promote internal employee growth.
  • Manage employee disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies for adherence.
  • Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and advancements in human resources and employment law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in human resources.
  • Previous leadership experience is essential.
  • Experience in the medical field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
