About the Role:

As a Meat Cutter at El Super, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers. Under the direct supervision of the Meat Manager, you will be responsible for breaking, cutting, and preparing meat products using hand tools and power equipment, in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meat products for display or as ordered by customers
  • Work with customers to take special orders
  • Collaborate with Meat Clerks and Meat Manager to determine which items need to be cut
  • Perform very heavy lifting, bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods

Working Environment:

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, requiring physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory demands.

Requirements:

  • Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Range: Minimum wage (depending on location) up to $20 (hasta $20 por hora)
