Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Life Care Center of Richland. As a COTA, you will provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Liaison with patients, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for patient needs
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety and sanitation, and confidentiality
Requirements:
  • NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay up to $45 per hour (for PRN positions)
  • $30-$40/hour DOE
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus or up to $9,000 student loan reimbursement available for Full-time
