Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Coordinator Assistant to join our team at Chrysalis. The successful candidate will assist the Medical Coordinator in reviewing medical appointment documentation, updating medical histories, and coordinating transportation for individuals. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work productively with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with reviewing medical appointment documentation and updating individual medical histories
  • Coordinate transportation for individuals to and from medical appointments
  • Communicate with parents/guardians, pharmacies, state coordinators, and other professionals as needed
  • Assist with setting up medical appointments and scheduling follow-up visits
  • Perform various medical tasks as assigned by the Nurse and/or Medical Coordinator
Requirements
  • CPR, First Aid, OSHA, Human Rights, ANEM, and SOAR trainings
  • Criminal History Check
  • Valid driver's license and meet Chrysalis driving policy requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the medical field and/or disability field
