Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Shipping and Receiving Associate to contribute to our operations at Power Plant Services. This position involves overseeing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring precise inventory management, and offering assistance across various departments to facilitate efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload delivery vehicles, categorize, and organize incoming products
  • Manage the coordination of shipments and deliveries
  • Monitor and report on the status of shipments
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory
  • Engage positively with suppliers and transport personnel
  • Provide additional support to shipping and receiving operations as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Availability to work extended hours when required
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
  • Forklift Certification to be obtained within 90 days of employment
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is a plus
