Your Responsibilities:

As a Business Banker II, you will collaborate closely with the business banking sales manager to monitor weekly progress, pinpoint opportunities for growth, evaluate marketing outcomes, and meet monthly sales and call objectives. You will also be tasked with delivering services to targeted segments of the small business sector. While prospecting and cold-calling are integral to the role, you view these as opportunities to forge enduring relationships with clients who can benefit from your financial insights. You embrace challenges and are always eager to assist others in their pursuit of financial prosperity.

Key Duties:
  • Develop a deep understanding of your clients and their businesses to effectively address their needs
  • Meet monthly sales and call targets established by the sales manager
  • Provide weekly updates on activities and marketing performance to the business banking sales manager
  • Oversee and facilitate loan commitments with precision and efficiency
  • Embody Frost's principles and core values by prioritizing client care, going above and beyond when necessary, and delivering excellence in all tasks
  • Process referrals from financial center relationship managers and other bank departments for small business offerings, including loans, deposit accounts, trusts, and cash management solutions
  • Support designated financial centers in specific geographic areas and maintain customer relationships post-sale
  • Stay informed about bank products and services through regular training sessions
Qualifications:
  • Experience in banking and lending solutions
  • Prior experience with cold-calling and evaluating credit reports and financial statements
  • Familiarity with business loan center operations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in banking and knowledge of banking products
