About the Role

A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver (Napa) to join our team. As a Community Living Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently and safely in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement program curricula and deliver individual and group learning experiences to assist participants in achieving their goals.
  • Maintain accurate data regarding participant progress and participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
  • Prepare teaching materials and schedule participant sessions according to their Individual Service Plan.
  • Provide training and support in areas such as money management, nutrition, cooking, and emergency procedures.
  • Coordinate participant training programs with other services and benefit systems.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.
  • Must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 and have CPR and First Aid training or be willing to obtain it within 30 days.
  • Must have a TB clearance and Department of Justice fingerprint clearance prior to employment.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and IHSS provider certification in the county(s) of placement within 30 days.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds and possess visual acuity.
