We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse 2 to join our team at the University of Miami Health System. Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service.
- Recruit participants and achieve research objectives, ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical research studies.
- Provide care to patients, practicing in accordance with the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice of the Florida Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care, utilizing available technology platforms for telehealth encounters.
- Teach patients and families the knowledge and skills needed to manage their care and prevent complications, ensuring compliance with research protocols.
- Monitor own practices and assist in monitoring others for practices related to patient and employee safety and compliance to standards and policies.
- Contribute to team building through participation in unit programs and meetings, and contribute to positive morale through constructive and effective conflict resolution skills.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing required.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license; Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers Certification.
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) provider card for Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy administration Certification in relevant specialty or field (i.e., oncology, clinical research, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
