Actalent is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Chemist to join our team in Torrance. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for monitoring chemical reactions, preparing solutions for purification, and conducting lyophilization processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor chemical reactions and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Prepare solutions for purification and samples under general supervision
  • Purify crude peptide using HPLC and conduct lyophilization processes according to established guidelines
  • Perform in-process checking of fractions using analytical HPLC and report results to supervision
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • 6+ months of GMP experience with analytical instrumentation
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
