We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the GI Endoscopy Unit at Quentin Mease Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, working under the direction of a physician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and physical examinations to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate and direct patient care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Make medical recommendations and referrals as needed, and formulate and evaluate treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on medical processes, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other clinicians to ensure seamless care and recovery.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN-NP, with specialty certification as required by department.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Masters in Nursing as NP or completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program.
