TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a travel contract in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal imaging
  • Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, including CT and MRI protocols

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography or related field
  • 1+ year of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
