About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and advanced diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Diagnostic Imaging Equipment: You will be responsible for operating a variety of radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
  • Prepare Patients for Imaging Exams: You will prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Administer Contrast Agents and Monitor Patients: You will administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Review and Analyze Images: You will review and analyze images to ensure they meet diagnostic standards and quality, contributing to accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain and Calibrate Equipment: You will maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care, ensuring seamless communication and effective treatment plans.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: You will adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a secure work environment and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist: You must hold certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Vermont.
  • Proven Experience: You must have proven experience in performing radiographic exams and a strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety protocols, and patient care.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You must be able to work efficiently in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
