Job Title: Strategic Partnerships Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Strategic Partnerships Specialist at Strategic Ventures Consulting Group, LLC.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in building and sustaining international or domestic partner relationships, with a strong focus on developing strategic partnerships that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with domestic and international governmental entities and organizations, leveraging expertise in defense security cooperation concepts, procedures, and execution.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare defense clients for meetings, conferences, and visits with allies, services, agencies, commands, and other parties, ensuring seamless execution and effective communication.
  • Compile and coordinate approval packages for international agreements, ensuring compliance with defense international agreements and security cooperation processes.
  • Plan, support, and assess Security Cooperation activities and organize and support international engagements, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Follow defense international agreements and security cooperation processes, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in building and sustaining international or domestic partner relationships, with a strong focus on strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Experience with defense security cooperation concepts, procedures, and execution as conducted by Combatant Commands, with a strong understanding of military processes, methodologies, and orders.
  • Experience supporting Defense operations, strategy, policy analysis, or planning with Service, Joint, non-defense organizations, or foreign nations, with a strong ability to work across Defense and interagency partners.
  • Experience working in military service or Joint staff, including supporting senior military personnel and civilians, with a strong understanding of the Defense strategy for operating in Cyberspace, the Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), the National Disclosure Policy (NDP), and Global Force Management (GFM).
  • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance, with a strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong preference for advanced degrees or certifications in fields related to international relations, business, or defense studies.
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience working with US Embassy country teams, theater combatant commanders, and foreign partners to establish and maintain relationships supportive of DoD objectives, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
  • Experience working across Defense and interagency partners to inform and support policy analysis decisions, with a strong understanding of the complexities of international relations and global security.
  • Experience working in a major headquarters staff level, with a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Experience drafting decision memos, briefing papers, and papers on international affairs topics in preparation for international and interagency meetings, including briefing senior leaders, with a strong ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, military personnel, and civilians.

Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
