Cherry Hills Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our members, guests, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome and greet each vehicle arriving to the club, actively engaging with members, guests, staff, and vendors.
- Review reports and stay informed about upcoming events, reservations, tee times, and activities to anticipate and prepare for expected arrivals.
- Participate in daily operations to maintain the safety and security of all individuals and property.
- Verify and confirm the purpose of visits for uncredentialed individuals, utilizing resources such as guest registration forms, reservations lists, and management to ensure visitors are expected before allowing entry.
- Direct trespassers to depart the premises and assist in managing the flow of traffic for large events and functions.
- Communicate with other departments via radio or office phone to coordinate guest arrivals and vehicle information.
- Provide parking permits to members, staff, and caddies, and follow all Emergency Response Procedures in case of emergencies or safety situations.
- Assist in special investigations and other duties as requested by management.
- Security experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to follow rules and orders in a professional manner is required.
- Ability to enforce rules in a kind, courteous, and professional manner is necessary.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in various situations is crucial.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods is required.
- Maintaining a security cell phone on at all times and monitoring for calls and messages is necessary.
- Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle check is required.
- Must be able to drive a security vehicle throughout the premises.
This is a full-time, year-round position offered at $19-$21/hour. Full-time eligible employees will receive health benefits, 401(k) after a waiting period, seven paid holidays, paid vacation, and sick pay after meeting eligibility requirements.
