Your Role in Transforming Lives
As a Recovery Support Advocate, you will engage and motivate individuals, facilitating impactful discussions that empower them to identify, develop, and achieve their personal recovery objectives. You will also provide valuable insights to the team, promoting and reinforcing Telecare's Recovery Culture as outlined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS). This approach ensures that each individual's perspective and preferences are acknowledged, understood, and integrated into our services and self-help initiatives. Furthermore, you will be equipped to handle critical situations with advanced engagement and de-escalation techniques, ensuring a supportive environment for those facing mental health or addiction challenges.
Available Shifts:
- Full-Time Morning: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
- Short-Hour Morning: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday and Saturday OR Sunday and Monday
- Full-Time Evening: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Friday through Monday
- Short-Hour Evening: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Friday and Saturday OR Sunday and Monday
The anticipated starting wage range is $25.76. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay scales, and the compensation for this role will reflect the geographic location from which it is performed. Starting pay will be commensurate with relevant experience exceeding the minimum qualifications.
Essential Qualifications (Must Have):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training / Certified Peer Specialist or Peer Employment Training within one year of hire
- Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system or demonstrated lived experience as a parent or primary caregiver of someone with behavioral health needs
- Valid and current driver's license, along with personal vehicle insurance listing you as a driver
- Willingness to utilize the company vehicle for transporting clients to appointments and group sessions

Our objectives include providing the necessary support to individuals and minimizing unnecessary law enforcement involvement, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations.
